Every wedding is as unique as the bride and groom who are planning their special day. The John Oliver Michael House recognizes this, which is why we believe in customizing a package to fit the bride and grooms needs.  If one of our packages below does not fit your needs, an Event Specialist will work with you to customize a package for your wedding.  Ask your Event Specialist about this prior to booking the John Oliver Michael House.

2008 - 2009 Packages for Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions Include:

·         Use of the John Oliver Michael House, “Oliver’s” and grounds starting at 11:00 am on the day of your wedding for preparation of your wedding ceremony and reception until 11:00 pm that evening.  Vendors and family are welcome to arrive early pending prior events at the JOMH.

·         Event Specialist to assist you throughout your planning as well as direct your wedding ceremony and reception and serve as on-site coordinator.

·         A one-hour ceremony rehearsal will be scheduled between the user of the John Oliver Michael House and the Event Specialist at the second planning consultation.  Rehearsal Dinners or wedding events separate from the ceremony and reception will incur an additional charge.  

·         A Staff to set up and clean up the entire facility before and after your event.  The client is responsible for taking personal items in and out of the facility. 

·         Parking Attendants provided for your wedding ceremony and reception

·         Guest tables, serving and beverage tables, signing and cake tables, hi-boy tables, D. J. tables, white wooden, padded wedding chairs set up for your ceremony as well as your reception, white floor length table linens for all of your tables, white toppers for your guest tables, a stainless steel bar unit, electrical connections throughout the entire facility, ambiance lighting throughout the grounds and around “Oliver’s” and the John Oliver Michael House. 

*Depending on number of guests, a high peaked pole tent, complete lighting package, wood parquet dance floor and stage will be included in your wedding package

 

*Please Note:

 

- A tent is required for wedding ceremonies and receptions with 150 guests or more.  For outdoor dancing, a dance floor is required.  For an outdoor band, a stage is required.  You may chose one of our pre-arranged wedding packages, or you may let your Event Specialist help to customize a package that fits your needs.

 

- The JOMH allows you to bring in vendors of your choice.  Your Event Specialist will provide you with a Recommended Vendor List at your first planning consultation.

 

- All wedding ceremony and receptions held Monday through Thursday, or on Sunday, will be extended a flat rate discount.  Ask our Event Specialist about hosting only your wedding reception at the John Oliver Michael House.  Rehearsal dinners or wedding events seperate from the ceremony and reception will incur an additional charge.
