"My family and the groom's family could not be more pleased with the wedding of our children, Christy Chaffin and Christopher Theissen, at the John Oliver Michael House in July 2010. As soon as we drove onto the property, my daughter knew it was where she wanted to be married and have her reception. We had a large wedding and the venue was perfect. The grounds were beautiful. Event though we had over 300 people, we never felt crowded since we were able to spread out across the grounds. Yet, with the sound system, everyone was able to hear the music and know exactly what was happening. Brittany knew exactly what equipment and supplies they had on hand and what we needed to rent. She took care of all the rentals for us. The staff at the JOMH could not have been more helpful or easier to work with. I was so appreciative of the workers that made sure that all needs were met for the wedding party, family and guests. As the mother of the bride, I was constantly mingling with the guests. The staff would just walk up and bring me a drink without interrupting my conversation. I never had to worry about any of the details for the wedding or reception. Everything was just taken care of. That allowed the parents of the bride and groom to enjoy the event without any worries. We are still hearing compliments from our guests about what a great wedding we had.
